Grown: Loch Melfort, West Coast of Scotland. Hand-cured and cold smoked.

We’re quite obsessed with this pairing – Peter’s Yard (who we’ve admired since they first brought the perfect cardamom bun to Edinburgh), make a sourdough crispbread that is the ideal size (10mm) for a cut of our D-sliced Smoked Steelhead. A visual delight and easy to eat as a stand up canape/starter. Plus it is light and snappy, off-setting the delicacy of the trout beautifully, and cutting through with that rustic rye and sourdough taste. Finish off with a simple dill and mustard dip.

Milk, rye flour, wheat flour (wheat flour, Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), sourdough 11.5% (rye flour, water), wholewheat flour, honey, salt, yeast.
