Senior Husbandry Person

Kames Fish Farming are currently recruiting for a Senior Marine Fish Husbandry Person at our Loch Melfort and/or Loch Craignish sea sites in Argyll. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and growing team, which is producing sea grown Steelhead Trout of the highest standard.

The successful applicant should have good, practical, stockmanship skills and experience, with a basic understanding of mechanics. Fork lift, crane, boat and first aid qualifications would be an advantage.  Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work effectively and lead a small team.  Duties include fish welfare, sampling, grading, treating, harvesting and other general fish farm tasks.

Candidates that have RYA power boat with commercial endorsement or boat masters will be at an advantage. Training and Refresher courses will be provided where required to ensure continuing personal development.
