Engineering Assistant, Kilmelford
We are seeking a full time marine mechanic for our operations in Argyll. Our fish farms rely on a wide range ofequipment to ensure the successful production of Steelhead Trout. Our key assets maintained include 8-22metre vessels, vehicles, forklifts, harvesting systems, knuckle boom cranes and feed barges.
A key focus of the engineering department is preventative maintenance, to ensure safe farming operations and minimise equipment downtime.
An interest in and knowledge of basic mechanics is required. Formal training and personal development will be provided. Applicants with certificates and training in workshop equipment will be at an advantage.
Kames offers a competitive package with a salary of £24,960 to £33,280 dependent on experience.
